This seminar deals with the historical development of international political economy as a discipline. Originally studied as the harbinger of today’s political science, economics, sociology, anthropology, and history, International Political Economy is the multidisciplinary study of the relationship between states and markets. A fuller understanding will be achieved through research and data analysis as well as interpretation of case studies.
